The funny thing is that all the "experts on here were telling us that they knew he meant to shoot because of the position of his foot ect.
Then Masuaku spoils it by owning up.
That said another performance that brings to mind of old truism the harder we work the luckier we get

It is true that Masuaku was fortunate, in that his sweeping cross deceived Mendy and the ripple of net surprised him as much as the goalkeeper. ‘Was it a cross or was it shot’ Masuaka tweeted later.
‘Hint: I was as surprised as you.’ Still, Mausuku and West Ham were just revising the old Gary Player line: the harder you try and the more you press, the luckier you get.
